AI in the Game of Diplomacy: Downloads
Zip files of the following DAIDE Diplomacy products are available to download from this site. All are either my own products, my enhancements to the products of other authors, or the products of other authors that are no longer available elsewhere on the Web.
Any Conditions of Use or equivalent files or comments that are included in any downloadable product must be followed. Each of my products or major repackaging of products of other authors includes a Conditions of Use file. If in doubt, these are the conditions of use.
See bots for further details, and links to download other bots or other versions of them from their authors' sites.
The following were derived by me from David Norman's original source, all of which incorporate his AiClient Framework:
AiClient 4~0 (for BaseBot 4, DumbBot 4, HoldBot 2 and RandBot 2)
Comprises the AiClient Framework, client-specific sources
and resultant binaries of DumbBot 4, HoldBot 2 and RandBot 2,
(essentially) as used by my Tournaments
and SAGA/ARENA
tests (from May 2005); all now superseded. David Norman assigns
no version to the AiClient Framework itself. This version of the
AiClient Framework source, and the binary of DumbBot 4, are no longer
available from David
Norman's site. However, in
practice, differences in performance between any of the versions of
BaseBot DumbBot, HoldBot or RandBot, whether from David Norman or as updated by
me, are probably imperceptible, maybe non-existent, albeit some minor differences in functionality or appearance.
No versions of the following bots by other authors are now available elsewhere on the Web:
Automated Negotiation In The Game Of Diplomacy [description of Diplominator, PDF format]
KissMyBot 1.0 [Old version, used in Tournaments 6 and 7]
KissMyBot 2.0 [Old version, used in Tournament 7]
KissMyBot 3.01 [Old version, used in Tournament 9]
This includes any product that is not a bot.
The following tools are derived from originals by David Norman, including some corrections, and enhancements required by MARS:
